An edgy, contemporary spin-off of the iconic drama "Beverly Hills, 90210," the new "90210" looks at life through the eyes of Annie Wilson (Shenae Grimes, "Degrassi: The Next Generation") and her brother Dixon (Tristan Wilds, "The Wire"), whose first day at West Beverly Hills High School leaves no doubt they're not in Kansas anymore. The Wilson family, including dad Harry (Rob Estes, "Melrose Place") and mom Debbie (Lori Loughlin, "Summerland"), has relocated to Beverly Hills to keep an eye on Harry's mother Tabitha (Jessica Walter, "Arrested Development"), a feisty-but-faded former television star and a charter member of the Betty Ford Clinic.
For Annie and Dixon, the awkwardness of being the new kids is made worse by the fact that their dad has taken a job as the high school principal. The school is one big culture shock for Annie, a sweet and friendly girl with a passion for the theater, and Dixon, a star athlete and scholar who was adopted by the Wilson family after they took him in as a foster child. Annie and Dixon have a close sibling relationship, which they'll need to help them cope with all the new cliques and classmates, including Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord, "Nip/Tuck"), a hot, spoiled, rich girl; Ethan (Dustin Milligan, "Runaway"), a popular jock whose abilities rival Dixon's; Navid (Michael Steger, "The Winner"), an aspiring journalist who heads up the school's daily newscast; and Silver (Jessica Stroup, "Prom Night"), a rebel who produces and stars in a YouTube-type video series.
Even the faculty seems hip and sophisticated at WBHHS, such as smart and funny teacher Ryan Matthews (Ryan Eggold, "Dirt") and beautiful guidance counselor Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth, the original "Beverly Hills, 90210"). Kelly's former classmate, Donna Martin (Tori Spelling, the original "Beverly Hills, 90210"), owns a local clothing boutique. The Wilson family has just begun to realize how much their lives are about to change.
Friendship is not charity, it's a give-and-take relationship. Your friends should be people you love, admire and respect. Don't be afraid to expand, or change your circle of friends. As you get older, you may head in a different direction than those you once considered your 'best friends forever'. As you evolve and mature, you may grow apart from friends who no longer fulfill you - it's ok! Hold this person in your heart, but be true to yourself when devoting time, energy and emotion to anyone you seriously consider a 'friend'.
9. RE-INVENT YOURSELF WHEN NECESSARY.
Self-reinvention is a way to constantly reflect and assess your goals and priorities in your personal, academic and professional life. The concept of self-reinvention allows you to reconsider your lifestyle and, at any given moment, change a particular course of action. The beauty of this process is that you don't have to beat yourself up about behaviour you consider undesirable. You should actually feel great that you have enough sense to realize the error of your ways (whatever they may be), and can spontaneously commit to change. Congratulations - you just solved a problem!
8. PROTECT YOURSELF.
HIV/AIDS is the #1 killer of black women ages 19-27 in America . You are not corny or lame if you insist on an HIV test before having 'relations' with someone. In fact, you're stupid to give up responsibility for your health and put your life in someone else's hands. Please DO NOT FALL FOR the age-old trick: 'Look at me - what am I supposed to do now?!' All men 'play with themselves'. Politely tell your partner that he should focus on 'self- love' until you're certain that he deserves to enter your temple.
7. JEALOUSY IS A WASTED EMOTION.
People who love themselves and recognize their worth are unable to be jealous of others. Why? You should be so preoccupied with loving yourself and changing what you don't like, you have no time to worry about what others are doing. Being jealous of someone is a waste of energy. You cannot control other people and the choices they make, or the luck they have. Weak people let other's circumstances affect their self-love and/or self-worth. Resist the temptation to be envious, as it will get you nowhere. If anything, let other people motivate you to achieve certain goals for yourself.
6. CARRY YOURSELF LIKE A LADY.
Embrace that which makes you a woman, and by all means, take advantage of the privileges that we have. Force men around you to treat you with the respect they would their mother, aunt or sister. Insist that your doors be opened for you, order your food first in a restaurant, and sit in the front seat if you are the only female in the car. There is nothing wrong with being 'pleasantly demanding'. Along with the privilege of womanhood comes a certain responsibility. Being a true 'lady' means you exhibit manners that would make your grandmother proud, your clothes are tasteful and appropriate for your age, and your hair and nails are always clean. These little things make a big difference in how you are viewed by outsiders, and the quality of men that you attract.
5. KEEP UP WITH CURRENT EVENTS.
Staying in touch with what's going on in the world is very important. Not only is it important to be aware of national and global issues, it makes you a lot more interesting to others because you always have something to talk about. It doesn't take much to watch the news, read the newspaper online, or buy an issue of TIME magazine or Newsweek. Don't forget - parents and teachers are a great source of info rmation on current events, and would love to have a conversation with you about something 'serious'.
4. Travel.
Do you have a passport? If not, get one. Before you are saddled with the responsibilities of a job and a family, take advantage of your freedom and travel. Instead of buying a new outfit, buy a plane ticket. See other parts of the world and observe other cultures. More importantly, have fun! Plan a trip with a friend to a social event in another city, a beach on an island, or a city in a foreign country. Capture your memories with photos or in a diary (or a blog). You will cherish them forever.
3. Be Proud To Be Black.
Black culture and heritage is based on strength, perseverance, and rich talents. You should have an overwhelming sense of cultural pride - as black people, we are so very special. Don't EVER feel as if you aren't equal to another person simply because you're black. If you have any question as to the importance of black people to our society, or how smart, beautiful, talented, funny and fascinating we are, start reading. Watch old movies. Read plays. Go see plays. Buy tickets for dance and musical performances. Seek opportunities to study academic topics involving, or related to, black people. Talk to your relatives that lived through some of the historical events you've heard about. Get on the Internet and study people with whom you're familiar. Keep in mind, black pride doesn't mean exclusion of others. It is most impressive when you seek to educate other cultures about the beauty and greatness of being black.
2. Have a Cause.
As long as you're here, it is your duty as a human being to help make the world a better place. Let your natural talents and passion lead you to an issue that keeps your attention, and to which you can commit your time and money. Get involved with groups that already exist. If your particular cause is new or unique, start your own group and make your friends join. Helping others is an easy way to feel good about yourself, and invest in the future of your community.
1. Love Yourself.
This is #1 and most important, yet challenging, mission to accomplish. Self-love is critical to survival at any age, and may be quite a personal journey. Loving yourself means recognizing, developing and honouring a sense of self-worth. Loving yourself means you have zero tolerance for anyone or anything that doesn't love you and respect you. Loving yourself also means you must treat yourself well, simply because no one else will do it for you.
FAITH EVANS ADMITS BEATING LIL' KIM!!!
Excerpt from new book details the night she caught Lil Kim in bed with Biggie.
*In her new book, "Keeping the Faith" singer Faith Evans writes of catching rapper Lil Kim red-handed and buck naked in the bed of her husband, the late Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace.
Evans writes: I don't know what got into my head. But I decided that I needed to know once and for all what Big was really trying to do. On that night before Christmas, I drove to Big's house on a mission to find out where I really stood.
The security guard at the gate just waved me in when I pulled up. It was Christmas Eve and she'd seen me come into the complex with the kids, so I guess she didn't think anything of it. I parked in the rear of Big's town house and walked up to the garage. It was locked. I hadn't been over to Big's house a whole lot but I did know that you jiggle the garage door a certain way and unlock it.
I got into the garage, where there was an elevator that would take me to both floors of Big's duplex. There I was, rocking a black skully cap and a heavy goose-down jacket, tiptoeing into the elevator and pressing the button to go up to the second floor, where his bedroom was located. I got to Big's bedroom door, turned the knob, and went inside. As soon as I saw a small lump next to Big's large frame, I flew into a rage, ran over to the side of the bed, and pulled back the covers. I grabbed some chick out of the bed and started beating her ass. At some point, the chick's wig came off in my hand; it was a short, cropped wig. I stopped throwing punches for a minute to get a good look at the chick I was beating up. It was Lil Kim. She was completely butt-naked, yelling as I pushed her around the room.
"So you not f***king her, right?" I screamed at Big. "Yeah, you not messing with her anymore, right?"
When they heard all the commotion, Cease, D-Roc, and Gutter came running into the room. 'Oh sh**!" they yelled in unison. "It's Faye! How the hell she get in here?"
Big sat up in bed and pointed at Kim, who was standing in a corner of the room, trying to cover her naked body with her hands while I was still yelling at Big. "Yo, get her outta here,' Big said. They led Kim out of the room and she screamed and cursed the whole way.
It was absolutely crazy in that house. Kim was naked and being led somewhere to get dressed. I was still screaming on Big. Damion, Cease, and Gutter were laughing in amazement that I would be so bold. And Big looked like he was just too through with all of us. He sat up in bed shaking his head. Kim left the house and I stayed, talking to Big about why he couldn't be honest with me about her.
"I thought it was all about Tiffany?" I asked. "You still messing with Kim, too?" Big had nothing to say.
I have to say I actually felt some pity for Kim. Big had a wife, and she settled for messing with him. Then he started dating Tiffany and Big had a wife and a mistress. And Kim still settled for being the other other woman. It seemed pretty sad to settle for that.
When I left a few hours later to get the kids, I noticed that Kim had taken my key to my Land Cruiser and scratched up my entire car, from the hood to the back bumper. Even though we ended up having sex that day, at that point I decided I was 100 percent through. I was not going to be a ride or die chick, always going to lengths to show Big how I felt. I was the mother of his child and his wife. But I was going to have to let go.

The night started to unravel when the R&B group (now three members strong after founder DeVante DeGrate exited) arrived at Enmore Theatre in Sydney without Dalvin. According to reports, the singer pulled out at the last minute.
Brothers Cedric and Joel Hailey, a.k.a. K-Ci and JoJo, were left to perform as a duo. But fans began booing and tossing bottles at the stage because they forgot some song lyrics and, at one point, even sat down.
The lowlight, however, took place during a sloppy rendition of "All My Life." That's when Jo-Jo simply passed out and fell to the stage. K-Ci looked at him briefly, then continued performing. A security guard walked toward Jo-Jo, but only to retrieve the microphone that had fallen out of his hand and rolled several inches away.
Eventually, Jo-Jo came to and was helped off stage by K-Ci and the security guard. K-Ci later explained to the audience that they were tired after their 24-hour flight and that JoJo had gotten dizzy."
Whatch the Video:
UPDATE:
Appearing on Hot 97's Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg on Monday, K-Ci is now changing his tune. He claims his brother Jo-Jo suffers from epilepsy and has seizures which caused him to pass out Saturday night in Australia.

OBAMA HAS MADE HIS VP PICK: Senator Joseph Biden of Delaware
*U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has chosen veteran Delaware Sen. Joseph Biden, a leading voice on international affairs, as his vice presidential running mate, his campaign said on Saturday.
Biden, 65, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is one of the most knowledgeable Democrats on foreign policy -- an area where Obama, a first-term senator from Illinois, has been criticized as inexperienced.
Ending days of speculation, Obama announced the decision on his Web site, featuring a photo of the two, and his campaign sent a text message and e-mail to supporters.
"Barack has chosen Joe Biden to be his running mate," the announcement said. "Joe Biden brings extensive foreign policy experience, an impressive record of collaborating across party lines, and a direct approach to getting the job done."
Biden is to travel to Springfield, Illinois, to join Obama for their first campaign event later on Saturday.
Biden, a Roman Catholic originally from the battleground state of Pennsylvania, will bring not only foreign policy expertise to the ticket but strong working-class roots.
That could help Obama connect with the blue-collar voters he has failed to attract in the run-up to the November 4 election against Republican John McCain. Obama and McCain are neck and neck in opinion polls.
For MORE of this story, go here.
Statement from Reverend Al Sharpton, President of the National Action Network and Former U.S. Democratic Presidential Candidate on Senator Obama's Selection of Senator Joe Biden as running mate:
"The selection of Senator Joe Biden as running mate to Senator Barack Obama was a prudent and praise worthy decision. Mr. Biden's experience, candor and ability to reach out to people--even those with whom he may disagree-- is well established. There will be those that will raise his remarks early in the campaign season about Senator Obama being the first African-American with certain qualities to seek the nomination. As the last African-American Democratic candidate for President, I can assure you this will be a non-issue. Senator Biden, upon making those comments, called me to give clarity and went, that day, on my syndicated radio show to explain his remarks to voters all over the country, and took calls. We should not allow this to waste one minute of consideration as we move toward November. Senator Biden's record in civil right's is exemplary."

FAITH TELLS THE "TRUTH" ABOUT TUPAC!
The alleged tryst between Tupac and Biggie's wife Faith are the tales the illest dramas are made of. But, Faith reveals at length what she says actually happened between her and the slain rapper. Check it out. The book is called "Keep The Faith."
"You know, I love New York," [Tupac] said. "But I'm not messing with New York right now."
The air in the room seemed to get really thick all of a sudden. His demeanor had changed so quickly that I was truly afraid.
"Really?" I asked. "Why is that!"
"'Cause n**g@s set me up that night. You know that right!"
I swallowed hard and took a deep breath. He was staring at me like he thought I was the one who set him up.
"You don't really believe that " I said.
"I'm telling you ... n**g@s set me up," he said in a low voice.
"Look, Pac. I just need to get my check and then I have to go ..."
"The situation with the money is like this," he said. "If I give it to you, then you my b***h."
I got up and moved father away from where he was standing.
"I'm not anybody's b***h," I said, trying to keep my voice even and steady.
"You Biggie's b***h."
I thought about how people always got stuff wrong. He was probably thinking about the song "Me & My B*t*h." And I wasn't with Big when he made that record.
"I'm his wife."
"I though y'all broke up?" he asked
"We still married."
"Whatever."
"Look," I said. "You hired me to do a song, I did it. I want my money and that's it."
"Oh word, it's like that? You just want your money?"
"You told me it wouldn't be a problem," I said. "The only reason I came up here is because you said ..."
"So you not trying to ...........?"
"What!" I screamed. "What are you talking about!"
Tupac raised his voice. "You know you want to ............, b**ch! Don't lie." I burst into tears and grabbed my phone. "I have to get out of here."
Tupac kept going. He was making no sense, cursing and yelling. He said something about Big and the East Coast.
"But ... but ... I thought y'all was friends," I said. At this point, I could barely speak clearly because I was crying so hard.
"Whatever. You know you wanna be my b***h," he said, before going into the bedroom area and slamming the door.
As soon as I got my things together to leave, Tupac came back to the common area.
"Where you going?!?" he asked.
"I don't know what you thought," I said. "I really don't. But it's not like that."
Tupac nodded slowly, staring at me intently. He wasn't ranting or screaming anymore. But he had this very sinister smile on his face. I kept looking around the room because I felt like something was about to happen to me. I wasn't sure if these guys were coming back or what. But something was wrong.
"It's not like that?" he kept saying over and over again and nodding. "Well ai-ight then, b***ch. You want to leave! Tell the driver to take you home. The limo is still out there. Get out.."
