Ms. Kelly Mac I want u to know that my mom is the strongest and most beautiful woman i know. My mom has been through so much with the lost of her first son and a couple years later the lost of her baby boy both to gun violence. It's been a long hard road for our family. The pain sometimes unbareable,but can u possibly imagine the pain of a mother losing both her sons? Kelly Mac my moms is definately in need of a good laugh. I would love to take her to tha show. I know that this is supposed to be for children talking about their mother but I have to tell you about my daughter. She is a single mother of two daughters. She was working full-time and going to college full-time until she was diagnosed with lupus nephroditus. She was in the hospital for almost 3 months this year and was told that she would not be able to return to work. She is still trying to go to school but will have to more than likely change her major. Even though she tries to keep her spirits up, I know that she worries about taking care of her family. I do what I can to help but have had to take over her portion of the bills, yes we live together and shared the bills. God has blessed her by healing her kidneys where she doesn't have to do dialysis anymore but she still has to do chemotherapy. When she looks in the mirror and sees the hair loss she tries not to let us see her crying but we know. I feel she needs a night of laughter just to forget if only for one night. I hope that my letter qualifies for these tickets because she deserves a night out on the town. Thanks Kelly for all you do for Greenville.

Why my Mom needs a good laugh in her life.She's the mom of me and 2 others plus a host of grands. She operates a non-profit hair school on the westside of town."NABS". She works hard helping young men and women learn a skill/trade and caters to their work and family schedules and often neglects time for herself. This would really make her happy on mother's day.

my mother was recently fired from her job for calling my sister on the phone while being parked on her bus. she's also been taking of my grandmother who's been sick. still dealing with the fact she has lost her job after driving a school bus for 14 years. i think getting these tickets would help her realize that there is still something to smile or even laugh about.

My Mama is the strongest woman in the world she has being working so hard to take care of the family. Not only does she work full- time but she also does bonding on the side. My dad has serious lung problems and is unable to work so she has to take care of him also.She is on the board of trustee's at the church and they constantly have her involved in something. I know she is stressed but she keeps going. She doesn't have time just to sit back and relax, between going to the doctor's with my dad, working,and helping me with my little boys ages 3 and 2 she deserves a break. She rarely even has time to smile. I would love to see her just have a day where she can just go and have a good time and forget about the stress for a little while.

My mom two years ago lost her best friend suddenly,and at the same time her mother my grandmother was in the hospital too! My mom continue's to go on, but God knows that each day when I look at her she seems so down and out. She doesn't really have a glow about her, it's like she's really missing something! If you could please on this Mother's Day, bring some joy and laughter to her I would be so grateful. I know that through God anything is possible, and that she will continue to get through this hard time! She still cares for my grandmother, and has custody of my 5 year old niece. My mom is the "ROCK" of our family, without her we would all be lost! Even when hard times come, she's the first one to say "God Will Make A WAY". I love her and would love to take her to this event, for us to share some time in a different atmosphere!!!!

Yes, My mom needs a good laugh. My mom was diagnosed with colon cancer like her father before on 5 years ago. She had surgery to remove the cancer and her cancer count was reduced to 3 which in the cancer world is GREAT. She continued to do preventative maintenance but now her cancer is back and now it is the liver. My mom is a proud lady and she doesn't even want anyone to know but to my mom "I love you and so does your family." She has recently finished a biopsy and next is surgery here or a hospital in Houston that specializes in liver disease. I just want to let her know that we love her and we are pulling for you. So Kelly Mac please give my mother a great laugh. And please spread the word in the African American community to get your colonoscopy.

Kelly, I think my mom need a good laugh, she just lost her mom and 4/6 and funeral was 4/10, before that time she was going to Rock Hill two to three time every week, for the last three weeks, I didn't understand but now I do, Her mom was prepareing her for her going home day. When I would see my grandmom I would tell my mom that they need to put grandmom is a home, not knowing what was going on with her health, she would get really mad and tell me that I don't understand. Kelly we love our mom's very much and I see the hurt in my mom eyes when we was at the funeral and days after, I think she need to have some fun and laughter the show would be a start for her please pick my mom, thanks so much for the time that you are taking to read this.

Kelly my mother Minnie Jackson is more than a canadate for this contest. Mrs. Jackson faught Breast Cancer and had to go 27 kimo treatments and 22 Radiation treatments. Also had her breast removed. But before she went to the doctor she planned and directed my wedding. That only lasted 5 years. My nasty divorce she held me close and dried my tears lots of nights and helped me with my three sons. She never through out any of these trying times thought about herself. She always said God will takes care of us through it all. She is the deaconist at her church and over the drama ministry at her church Rock Of Ages. She is even dedicated to the church as she is to her family. For once I want her to sit and laugh and enjoy herself.

Kelly please make my mamma laugh. she has had a rough time this past 5 almost 6 years; with the loss of her husband my father. They were married for 48 years before his death in October of 2003. He was very sick before his death with a multitude of ailments that we as African American people usually have; unfortionately. After my fathers death she took in my nephew at age 14;at that time. When his father threw him out of the house because he couldn't handle him anymore. My nephew was diagnosed with ADD/HD Syndrome with a high anger defiat tendencies at age three. I can't tell you how many times she had to go to his school, things he broke in the house(things she's had for years), putting his fist thru the back door, talking back to her in an hostile aggravated nature. Which ultimately landed him in jail. This was because of his beahavior problems at his school as well. My mother was the only one that went and got him out of jail and brought him back home again to her house. The charges were dropped; thank God. But I believe this rude awakening and all my mothers love sparked a fire under him;knowing that she was truly the only person he could count on. From that point on he started to act as if he might want something out of life. He did graduate in June of 2008 and because he scored so high on his Navy entrance test; he is now in the U.S. Navy and doing quite well. I believe with the help that my mother gave to him; not giving up on him and staying by his side giving him the encouragement and discipline he needed when no one else did is why he is where he is today. Old shool raising is the best kind. This is why I think my mother deserves a night of fun and laughter. Oh' by the way she did all of this with only receiving a Social Security check. she's a retired hospice nurse. Thank you Kelly Mac

my mother may be deceased, but my older sister who is 2 years older than me has been like a mother to me every since we lost our mother. my mother died when I was 13 (8 days after my b-day ) I am now 36 years old and my sister is still like my mother to me. Yes true enough she is married and has a family of her own. She still is the mother figure to me. She not only treat me like a sister, but also like a daughter. my dad ( sperm donor ) is nowhere in our lives. He has never been there for us, so my sister is like my mother and my father. I strongly think she needs to laugh, because she is a fulltime worker and a fulltime student. She is like super women to me. She handles it all, in both households. Mine and hers.She is my rock, if it wasnt for her I would probally be in hell or jail. She stays on me like flies on boo boo.I probally wouldnt be still alive if it wasnt for her. Like Tom Joyner said "take a love one to the doctor" she did just that. And Im a living witness of that. I brushed it off and complained about the pain and went on, but she said i need to go and see about it. She heard the number on the radio used my name and now Im getting all the treatments I need. High blood pressure, breast issues, Im still fighting with both to get it under control. With her on my behind everyday about it. As you can see Im a job in itself that she is working because Im not easy to go get things taken care of.

My mother is deceased but I was hoping I can nominate myself. I am going thru a terrible divorce and things seem to get worse for me. When possible i treat myself to a comedy movie for laughs but I would love to see a live performance. Thanks
