1. ELIGIBILITY. Contest open only to legal residents of SC who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of 7/25/10. Employees of BI-LO, JAMZ and their parents, members, affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses) and persons living in the household of each are not eligible to participate. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

2. HOW TO ENTER: Submit an entry online by visiting www.1073jamz.com, clicking on the BI-LO/JAMZ BBQ Cook-off link on the home page under 7th Annual BI-LO Upstate Family Reunion . Limit one mail-in entry per category per post-marked envelope. Partially completed and/or mechanically reproduced entries or rubber-stamped entries will be void and ineligible. Entries postmarked after August 2, 2010 and/or received after August 5, 2010 will be void and ineligible. All entries received become the sole property of BI-LO and will not be returned. BI-LO will not be responsible for illegible, late, lost, mutilated, misdirected, postage due or stolen manual entries.

3. RANDOM DRAWING: Contestants will be selected on a “first come, first serve” basis from among all eligible entries received throughout the entire promotion. Odds of winning the prizes depend on total number of entries received at the time of the drawing. Contestants will be notified by telephone and invited to participate in the “BI-LO/JAMZ BBQ Cook-Off.” In the event that a potential contestant does not accept the invitation at the time of offer or BI-LO is unable to make direct contact with them within forty-eight (48) hours from the initial attempt, they will be considered ineligible and an alternate will be selected.

4. SELECTION: Forty teams total will be selected to compete in the “BI-LO/JAMZ BBQ Cook-Off.” The event will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Heritage Park, Simpsonville, SC. Contestants must purchase items for cook-off from BI-LO using the provided vendor/sponsor brand list. A store receipt is required to show proof of purchase of these items. In the event the contestant cannot produce a receipt, they will be disqualified from the event. Contestants selected will be responsible for providing, at their own cost, transportation to the event and all equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to, grill, propane or charcoal, meats, spices, marinades, utensils, and garnishes needed for grilling at the event. Your grill, equipment, and assistant must fit in a 20’ x 20’ space. Your food preparation area must be covered by a tent. Each contestant is allowed to bring two persons to assist them at the event. Acceptance of offer to be a contestant constitutes permission to use contestant’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

5. PRIZES: Pork and Chicken meat categories: 1st Place wins a trophy and $1,000 Cash; 2nd Place wins a trophy and $750 Cash; 3rd Place wins a trophy and $350 Cash. Dessert category: 1st Place wins a trophy and $500 Cash; 2nd Place wins a trophy and $200 Cash; 3rd Place wins a trophy and $100 Cash. All federal, state and local taxes and all other costs associated with acceptance or use of the prize, not specified herein, are the sole responsibility of the winner. In the event the forty team contestants do not participate in each category of the “BI-LO/JAMZ BBQ Cook-Off” the selection of winners will be made from the participating contestants. Each of the forty contestants will get two (2) official “2010 BI-LO/JAMZ BBQ Cook-Off” aprons.

6. GENERAL RULES: Decisions of Sponsor are final in all matters relating to this Contest. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By participating, entrants accept and agree to abide by and be bound by the Award Rules. Except as specifically set forth herein, all other costs including federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, mutilated, misdirected entries, entries not received in time for the random drawing, faulty machinery or other mechanical error. Potential contestants will be notified by phone. The winners of the “BI-LO/JAMZ BBQ Cook-Off” will be notified at the event. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted. If prize is not generally available at contest end, another prize of equal or greater value will be substituted at sponsor's option. Winners must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form at the end of the event. Noncompliance within this time period will result in disqualification. Acceptance of prize offered constitutes permission to use winner's name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold BI-LO and 107.3 JAMZ (WJMZ), its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use/misuse of prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Sponsors are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize.

7. WINNER LIST: For the name of the contestants selected to participate in the “BI-LO/JAMZ BBQ Cook-Off” as well as the list of winners from the event, send a separate, stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope to: “BI-LO/JAMZ BBQ Cook-Off,” 220 North Main Street, Suite 402, Greenville, SC 29601. This will be available after August 14, 2010.
