Phrase That Pays Promotion

OFFICIAL RULES

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. Eligibility. Subject to the additional restrictions below, the Phrase That Pays Promotion (the "Promotion") is open to South Carolina residents, 18 years or older at the time of entry, with a valid South Carolina driver's license ("Contestants"). Employees of Cox Radio, Inc. d/b/a WJMZ-FM ("Station") and its affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. Employees of other Greenville/Spartanburg/Anderson radio stations and of each of their respective affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term "immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. The use of automatic telephone dialing equipment or other software or computer-assisted dialing equipment is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

3. Contest period. The Promotion begins at 5:01 p.m. (EDT) on April 7, 2008 and ends at the sooner of 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on May 9, 2008 or when a maximum of $24,000 has been given away (the "Promotion Period").

4. How to Enter and Play. Contestants can enter by sending their contact information ("Entry") to the Station by fax, mail or hand delivery. Contact Information is defined as First and Last Name, Address and Contact Phone Number.

Station will combine all Entries and randomly draw one Entry 2 times daily Monday- Friday at various times and call the Contestant whose name was drawn. The Contestant must answer the phone with the "Phrase That Pays" plus the amount of money for that call. Example: "107-3 JAMZ is my station. Now give me my $250!" The Contestant needs to answer the phone with the exact phrase; any Contestant using a variation of the phrase will not be a winner. The process will repeat until the end of the Promotion Period.

Fax entries should be sent: to 864-370-3403. Mail entries should be sent to: 107-3 JAMZ "Phrase That Pays" Promotion, 220 North Main St., Suite 402, Greenville, SC 29601. Hand delivery: Drop off in person Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 220 North Main St., Suite 402, Greenville, SC 29601.

All Entries become the property of Station and none will be returned.

How to play: Listen to the Tom Joyner Morning Show Monday through Friday at 8:00 a.m. for contest hours. Listen to 107-3 JAMZ for the cash amount for that contest hour to be announced. If your phone rings during the contest hour, answer your phone with the 107-3 JAMZ "Phrase That Pays" including the correct dollar amount, and you will automatically be a winner, subject to compliance with the eligibility and other requirements of these Official Rules.

You may enter the Promotion as often as you like but only one (1) prize per person and per household will be awarded during the Promotion.

Sponsor will not be responsible for loss of service to the call-in line or for a Contestant's failure to reach the call-in line due to malfunction of any network or system, congestion, overload, busy signals, or any other factor that may prevent an individual from completing his/her phone call. In the event of interruption of power or telephone service to WJMZ-FM during a call-in period of the Promotion and prior to accepting the winning caller, the call-in period affected by the interruption may or may not be replayed at the resumption of service, at Sponsor's sole discretion.

5. Winner Selection. Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, each Contestant who is called and answers the phone with the correct "Phrase That Pays" and correct dollar amount for that contest call will be declared the winner.

Each winner will be drawn randomly from all eligible Entries previously received and placed into the drawing pool.

6. Prizes and Odds. Prizes will vary based on the value of each contest call. A minimum of $100 and a maximum of $1,000 will be paid to any Contest winner with a maximum of $24,000 in cash awarded over the entire Promotion Period.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. There will be at least 2 contest plays daily Monday-Friday during the contest period.

7. Winner Notification and Acceptance. Sponsor will notify winners during their initial telephone call to WJMZ-FM and prizes will be awarded upon verification of their eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.

Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are non-assignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes may only be picked up by winners who have a valid South Carolina driver's license. Prize must be picked up by winner within 30 days of winning date or prize will be forfeited. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within ten (10) days of date of sender's postmark. Failure to timely sign and return the affidavit or release, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner. Any telephone calls placed to 107-3 JAMZ call-in line may be recorded for use on air any time. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor. For prize winners list (available after May 6, 2008) or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Phase That Pays Promotion, "Winners List Request" or "Official Rules Request" (as applicable), 220 N Main St, Suite 402, Greenville SC 29601.

8. Participation. By participating, Contestants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which shall be final in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Promotion as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event that the Promotion is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion. Should the Promotion be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.

9. Construction. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.

10. Sponsor. The Phase That Pays Promotion is sponsored by Cox Radio, Inc. The decisions of Sponsor and Promotion judges regarding the selection of winners, the interpretation of these Official Rules and all other aspects of the Promotion, shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Promotion.
