Marcus Watts is the Head Varsity Coach at High Point Academy in Spartanburg. He was a North South All-Star player and won MVP and numerous awards while at Clinton High School. Marcus played college ball at Cowley College in Kansas City, KS and at University of Tennessee Chattanooga before playing overseas in Germany and Finland. After recovering from an injury Watts realized his passion was in coaching. He became the assistant coach at Broome High School and has since moved on to become the Head Coach at High point Academy, accomplishing #1 in the Region and a State Championship. Coach Watts is dedicated to doing his part to ensure the players on his team are prepared for the court, the classroom and the world after his program. He will do anything to help anyone of his players in anyway and helps to change their lives for the better daily…and that makes Coach Watts a 107-3 JAMZ UPSTATE BLACK HISTORY MAKER!!!
