The City of Spartanburg’s Department of Community Services created Walk As One in 2002 as a means of highlighting both how Spartanburg’s diversity and its unity make us a stronger community. This walk celebrates our shared difference and renews our shared sense of belonging in the place that we, collectively, are proud to call home. We encourage all to come out and as a city, join hands, “walk as one”, and continue not only to recognize and accept diversity, but also celebrate it.

• The Walk begins at 9AM at Episcopal Church of the Advent. FREE t-shirt for the first 100 walkers.
